| The Chapel Saint-Sebastien is an historical monument. A romanesque church tower, ossuary, gothic chevet, Rennaissance windows. In the chancel, a sumptuous Baroque alter is the masterpiece of the Winterhalter brothers. | ||
| Bernstein Castle (early 13th century) perches on a rocky peak at 552m altitude. Precursor to the Ortenberg plan, it stands out in its remarkable state of conservation. The castle is accessible on foot from Dambach, via the Chapel Saint Sébastien (45mn) or by car from Schulwaldplatz (15mn). |

The Haut Koenigsbourg castle is a magnificent fortified castle restored and refurbished to what it may have been several centuries ago. The site of this vast Vosges castle has been used since the most ancient of times. Celts, then Gallo-Romans probably had similar posts. In ancient times, it was called Stauffenberg. Entirely restored, Haut-Koenigsbourg castle is the second most visited castle in France. It has an unrestricted view of the Alsace plains. |
